De acuerdo a la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) la pandemia de Covid-19 ya no constituye una emergencia de salud pública de importancia internacional.
Esto se veía venir, luego del cierre por cerca de dos años de los puentes internacionales, por vía terrestre, los agentes de la Oficina de Aduanas y Protección Fronteriza de los Estados Unidos (CBP, por sus siglas en inglés) no se vieron muy estrictos en cuanto la exigencia de los certificados oficiales de las dos vacunas.
– ¿Todos se vacunaron?, cuestionó un agente a la fila de visitantes, quienes ansiosos, en la popular fecha del 8 de noviembre del 2021.
Pocos mostraban su certificado, mismo que obtuvieron luego de ponerse las dos dosis de vacuna en México y después ingresar al portal cv.covid.salud.gob.mx
Sin embargo miles de personas empezaron a vacunarse en Texas, incluso volaron a Houston y otras ciudades para hacerlo en establecimientos comerciales como HEB, Walmart o las Walgreens farmacias americanas.
En todo este tiempo de apertura de puentes, pocas personas se vieron cruzando el puente usando cubrebocas o llevando gel antibacterial por aquello de las dudas.
El poco contacto con los visitantes, creó permisos digitales de internación como el CBP One, para realizar solicitudes de autorización de viaje anticipados, siempre y cuando viaje al interior a Houston hasta 25 millas por 30 días en los Estados Unidos.
¿Por qué la gente ya no usa cubrebocas?
Sin mencionar a la gente “antivacunas” que durante la pandemia estuvieron en campaña para alentar a la gente a no protegerse contra el Coronavirus por tener dudas de qué estaban inyectando a la gente.
Era tanta la desinformación que miles de personas decidieron no vacunarse, hasta establecimientos comerciales como HEB daban incentivos como tarjetas de 100 dólares con tal de aceptar vacunarse contra el Covid-19.
Hasta el gobernador de Texas, el gobernador Greg Abbott emitió una orden ejecutiva que prohibía a autoridades locales imponer mandatos sobre utilizar mascarillas, ni obligar ser vacunados, pues repetía que esa era “responsabilidad personal”.
Como que temía que con estas medidas desalentaban la economía estatal, por el cierre de negocios, como ocurrió en la frontera tamaulipecas, donde cientos de negocios y hasta escuelas que tuvieron que dar sus clases en línea vía zoom.
El uso de cubrebocas ayudó en gran parte a evitar los contagios directos del virus del Covid-19, por estornudar, hablar o que estaban en el ambiente.

After the pandemic, will they leave their mouth covered?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Covid-19 pandemic no longer constitutes a public health emergency of international concern.
This was seen coming after the closure for nearly two years of international bridges, by land, the agents of the Office of Customs and Border Protection of the United States (CBP, for its acronym in English) were not very strict regarding the requirement of official certificates of the two vaccines.
– Did everyone get vaccinated? An agent questioned the line of visitors, who were anxious, on the popular date of November 8, 2021.
Few showed their certificate, which they obtained after receiving the two doses of the vaccine in Mexico and then entering the cv.covid.salud.gob.mx portal.
However, thousands of people began to get vaccinated in Texas, they even flew to Houston and other cities to do so in commercial establishments such as HEB, Walmart, or Walgreens American pharmacies.
In all this time of opening bridges, few people were seen crossing the bridge wearing face masks or carrying antibacterial gel just in case.
The little contact with visitors created digital entry permits such as CBP One, to make advance travel authorization requests, as long as you travel inland to Houston up to 25 miles for 30 days in the United States.
Why don’t people wear face masks anymore?
Not to mention the “anti-vaccine” people who during the pandemic were campaigning to encourage people not to protect themselves against the Coronavirus because they had doubts about what they were injecting people with.
There was so much misinformation that thousands of people decided not to get vaccinated, even commercial establishments like HEB gave incentives such as $100 cards to agree to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
Until the governor of Texas, Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order that prohibited local authorities from imposing mandates on the use of masks, or forcing them to be vaccinated, as he repeated that this was “personal responsibility”.
As he feared that these measures would discourage the state economy, due to the closure of businesses, as happened on the Tamaulipas border, where hundreds of businesses and even schools had to give their classes online via Zoom.
The use of face masks helped to a large extent to avoid direct contagion of the Covid-19 virus, by sneezing, speaking, or being in the environment.
